Xerox dc 250 & dc 260 toner dust

Have a Xerox DC 250 and DC 260. Both have frequent CQ problems due to CMY toner dust.

Opening the Xero/DV unit theres a lot of CYAN, MAGENTA &YELLOWtoner dust which is even on covers.

Had serious deletions only to discover that the same toner dust is also reaching the ROS units. after cleaning the ROs theres no deletions.

How do i stop the DVs from leaking out this dust? please help.

How old is your developer & Developer assy. Are you using OEM toner?

Both macines have done about 1,800,000 copies and DV assy / developer material hasnt bin changed since they were bought.

I am not sure on the HFSI on the developer material but I think it need a change .

Do these machines have a trickle development system?

Iv replaced the Developer Units and Developer materials and the problem is solved.

P.s What i have found aswell is that alot of tech's dont change the large filter on the rear of the m/c and the one's above tray 5 with help to stop this problem..
