    Workcentre 5687 showing...

    Goodday everyone,
    My Workcentre 5687 is showing "Copying & Printing are unavailable, Finisher communication Fault" IMG_0717.jpg
    What is causing the problem? This machine is without Finisher.Even i connect it with a finisher, it is still showing " Copying & Printing are unavailable". Anyone of you guys came across this?

      This series requires a finisher to work or an OCT. If you have attached a known working finisher then possibly the IOT PWB is blown.

          make a cheater. 3-11-13 pin shorted on 15 pin connector (PJ151 on LVPS i think) remplace OCT. If you still get error The IOT PWB is suspected. THere is a post in this forum about the cheater. PN is 600T2261.
