wc7765 power on hangs on energy star

greetings to all,

I've got a 7765 when power on will see the energy star logo hear the hdd move a bit then 1 min. the ui turns black then back to the energy star logo and repeats the cycle again and will never be ready state, tried to force alt boot but never does, replaced the hdd with new one still the same.
Wanted some input was thinking the controller board, anything would be appreciated.

Did you also replace sata cable? I don't have that model, but one of my friends had problem with that cable.

thanks bojans it turns out I got a bad HDD, replaced it and everything started up.
