    Workcentre 7665 say 7655 ! ?

Recently i change the backup battery of my 7665 , at the time to turn on again the machine say 7655 instead of 7665 is there any problem with that ?, the printing speed will be the same or how can i change the system again to 7665 ?. There is no problem to print, i can print in the same way as before with the same drivers as 7665, do i need to change something to say again 7655 or could i leave the machine as is ?

Connect the machine with PWS by WCPP Diagnostic Navigator.
Choose DC 105 and see what it says in the box Product identifier.

Looks like someone changed one of the SN components and did a reset. Is the SN inside the left door the same as the SN in the WCPP Diagnostic Navigator or on the UI? The hardware is all the same its a matter of what SW you have.

The tip is in the installation guide. Reinstall the speed SIM which is located in the tray 1 or tray 2 storage compartment.

Hmmm there is o sim in tray one, also lost scaning options (email and network), i had similar problem with Copeland (dots of death - batttery was empty), I think i need to connect is special time when machine is booting up but i dont know when... By Copeland it was in Eureka tip.... WCPP in diagnostics all positions are grey out...

            Greetings

Sims are only for upgradable options Had new one - machine doesnt recognize that one (old but other serial number written on sim card - MAchine says wrong serial number)

You can't use SIM from another machine. First time you use SIM onto machine the serial number of that machine is writing on the SIM. Reinstall scanning option if the SIM belongs to your machine. 65 pages per minute is an option from standard 55 pages per minute. For this reason must be a SIM for machine speed. But, I think, you can live with 55 prints / minute.
What software version is on to 7665 machine ?

You lost me for the most part... Image quality issues should be on a separate thread, if I have read correctly.

The SIM is specific to the unit it came with not compatible with any other.

WCCP mode should load at ant time during boot-up or while on. As far as I know it isn't possible to retrieve the options without the married SIM.

                Best of luck!
