My brother is using a xerox workcentre 7242, and it kept displaying to replace fuser unit...so we did but we still get the same message, even after replacing it and pressing the reset counter button. I however noticed that the side (side a) that you open up to take the fuser up does not close properly or easily as it should. Now am not so sure if that is the problem or not, but i did notice that after installing the new fuser and trying to open side a it was very difficult. So am not so sure if side a not closing properly is the problem or something else. If anyone can help i would very much appreciate it. Thanks
