Xerox 5687 Network Controller unavailable

I have a Xerox 5687 that doesn't communicate with its Network controller, faults sequence is 03-340, 03-367, 03-544. Changed the firewire cable and card, no result. The defect was after changing the IP configuration from the user interface and it's likely the copier can't communicate with its Network controller. Network Controller can be pinged from any workstation and shows the new IP address given. What else can be done? Is there any NVM in the copier to be changed in order to give it the new IP config that was put for the Net Controller? Any help will be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Probably software crash on net controller. Check hdd and reload sw.

Thank you, I'll try that. In the mean time, I have another thing to ask about. I can't enter the tools mode too, the login button is dimmed (in ready to copy and Net controller not available). The option initialize all NVM of the copier has "Crash Recovery", can it clear that crash?
