    XEROX WORKCENTRE PRO-128

    Hi to all comrades,am a canon tech working on the above machine.When the machine is switched on,it does not boot but shows "please wait" throughout.I suspect this to be a firmware problem as this scenario is common with canon copiers.Any assistance is welcome,thanks in advance.

    Check for a blown fuse on the MCU board or try reseating the memory DIMM

      this can cause by the harddisk problem try to change the h/d 10/20g any will do oh can try take out the h/d g/luck

        I checked all the fuses on the MCU board ,they are all fine.Reseated the memoryDIMM,the problem still persists.Any more clues?Thanks
