You change the IP address through the control panel. Depends upon which controller as to how the menus are structured. You will find it under printer settings.

it asks for a code for enter in the menu

Does this 6204 have an embedded or external controller?
Are you trying to change the IP address through the user control panel?

Press the Log in and out button on the control panel. When prompted, enter the password 11111. Next select network button on touch screen.
