[Error Code] 116-324 Xerox WC 5222 (Kohaku)

Hi Masters!!

I've a problem with a kohaku series. Our customer have 15 MFDs. There are same problem for all.
When start a print dcument (pdf, docx) sometime freezing down the multifunctional, and just the reboot can help.
Important information: The printing works with Safeq Software. (cost recovery system Making the MFPs think | Y Soft )

I have found some "solution" but didn't works none.

Solution tipps:

1, Xerox Repaire procedures by PWS edoc suggestions..
- attached the picture (Don't work)

2, If you are on PCL driver - disable the Print Optimization feature in the driver. If you
are on the PS driver set the PostScript Output Option to Optimize for Portability. The print
file will be larger and printing will take more time. (Don't work)

3, Safeq patch installs (Don't work)

Someone has a briliant ideas? Please don't hesitate?

May be problem is the machine HDD, have you checking HDD in service mode, how about partion, did its said something after test. Have you change the HDD?

What version of software machine have ?
May be updated sw version resolve your problem !

First,you need to upgrade system software to 1.227.121 ST or PS,and check again.
Maybe the problem is in driver configuration.

From my experiance,if your customre use only printer driver instaled on server and users have PC with many operating system (XP,WIN7...)you need to instal printer driver on each PC separately.

Hello everyone!


I am very happy for lots of help ideas!
I have received a new information from Xerox Hungary on yesterday morning. There is a new SPAR release in case this series. This version is 1.207.132. (BW reader no PS modul)
I have upgrade 2 pcs test machine and now I am waiting. :-)
Furthermore I have tried set up some option. (Extending the RAW 9100 buffer size from 256 to 1024 kb. This was necessary because it was too slow in printing and it was arrive in various packages. I mean, there is a print job 84 pages. On the machine start printed 12 pgs and takes a less break. Some second later print the next 21 pages and so on.)
Next step testing the machines some days or weeks and I will write this forum my experience.


Come back this topic within 2 weeks.
