[Error Code] Xerox Dig. Colorpress 700 trans belt error.....HELP???

SO, is there a reset required for the 042-326 error?
I took out the itb, vacuumed out the cleaner unit (not that dirty), cleaned the belt sensor on the inboard edge, still no 'ready' joy, error remains...
Can anyone tell me if a reset in service mode is required, or just 'replace belt and blade and recycle power'?
Again, the belt does not look that bad, and when I cheated front cover after unplugging for a few minutes with belt assembly reinstalled, I never saw any gears move (i.e. never saw belt assembly motor or gears move at all).
    What say you guys?
I have no s.m. since it's not something I service regularly, and not Xerox dealer.

I'm not sure, but try to reset NVM location 741-105 to 0.

Send me a mail at stoadis@gmail.com to give you a page with instructions about this error code.
But there are several causes for this fault and I think you need service manual.
