[Misc] Xerox 7346 max paper weight

I am thinking of getting a Xerox 7346 does anyone know if you can print on stock heavier than
what the specs say? I have run many copiers and all have been able to run heavier stock within reason.
    It says 220gsm 80# cover I would like to run 250gsm 140# index or 100 # cover.
Any help would be great. Also do you recommend this box I will only have to pay
    clicks on it no lease.

    Thanks,

Re: Xerox 7346 max paper weight

One of my customers with a 7346 who was trying to run paper that was heavier than the spec limit experienced a lot of jamming. I don't know the exact weight of the paper they were using because there were no specs listed on the box but they also were using a paper listed at 176gsm and it was much thicker than that. They were also running it as "heavy weight" and when I ran it as "Extra HW" it did seem to run better. If you plan on running large amounts of this 250gsm stock on a regular basis this might not be the best model for the job.
