I have (previously) once managed to get into the "firmware reset" on the xerox 3545 which allows the setting on NVRAM and options, which are coded as a set of rather cryptic number settings, and allow changing a wide variety of options (including for instance, the counters) on a C3545.
However, sadly, we've just got a new unit, and via hook nor crook have I managed to switch it into debug mode.
Press * and # and Access displays the language choice screen.
Press and hold 0 then Access does not seem to place it into debug mode.
In fact, most frustrating it is too.
Does anyone happen to have some suggestions as to the "magic keystroke" to return this fine unit into installlation mode, where I can go and reset these fine settings.
I know that it doesn't have the full "error diagnostics" via the touch screen, but it does have some settings (beyond the usual user ones, which are all set to "Call Xerox".
We purchased the unit at Auction and I'm getting rather peeved.
