I am getting this error code also 042-326, it says a fatal error, it happening time by time, any suggestions.

I have another question, I think is the belt position problem, I was wondering can i change the reflecting mark that is in the belt because i think is damaged, can I change it with vinyl foil that is that kind of material like this one.

You can try. I used to make something similar.
But you should also protect that silver patch with transparent tape.

Why is so important to be protected is it because of the sensors, I mean even a small scratch can make problems or what?.
If I remove the old one, and the new one doesn't work what should I do?

Yes, it will get screatched in two days.
There are also original patches from xerox, if you can get it.

another idea, very radical so hear goes.Try replacing the transfer belt.

great idea my friend, when there is any alternative solution to extend the life of the belt why not use it, since they are quite expensive.
