[Error Code] 127-211 with Xerox Docucolor 240, tray #3 possible cause

The copier is just installed and running fine. It's Xerox DocuColor 240 with Fiery controller. But suddenly, the copier stopped with printing with just one piece A4.

When looking in Command Workstation for errors, it just say 'DFE-006, switch copier off and on'. After re-switch copier, it print again just one sheet, and suddenly the program is disconnected from copier. When relog, it say again same DFE-006 error. I have entered diagnostic mode and check which fault error is showed.

The error seems 127-211. When reading on internet, it seems the page reload problem. I read also another fiery patch that should solved the 127-211 error. Not sure if i must apply the patch. The version of Fiery controller seems 1.1. I have removed all sheets from tray #3 amd #4, both high-volume A4, so i use only tray #2, the multi-purpose tray.

The copier seems fine with sheets from tray #2, thus there is some error in tray #3 or #4. But tray #4 is just empty, which means there is problem with tray #3. Might faulty sensor in tray #3. Printing from tray #1 (A3 size) has no problems.

You may tell me about the error 127-211, the reload error. How can i solve the problem in tray #3? Which part must checked?

Even printing from tray #2, it seems copier stops sometimes with one sheet.
When restarting machine, it print without problems for a while.

Not funny problem, it looks copier make some jokes with me. It works or it doesn't work.

127-211 fault is a communication error between the printer and the fiery. Start with reseating the VSEL pwb in the printer (I had one that was not seated fully that caused this error). Also, reseat all boards and connections in the fiery. Make sure all cables are in good condition and making good connection between the printer and the fiery.

If the problem comes back, next step might be to reload software on the fiery (the machine should have come with CDs to do this).

Possible defective fiery HDD or motherboard.

If none of these things help, check for other codes in history that show up along with 127-211. You may have hidden (not displayed on UI) errors that are the real problem and the 127-211 is just what the printer displays first.
