Xerox Phaser 6120 reports "Paper jam Transfer" but no paper jam.

    Hello everybody,
Found very useful post on this forum about how to enter service password on my Phaser 6120, many thanks!
However my problems didn't end yet...
My printer stopped working after my relocation. Perhaps movers dropped or rolled the box with the printer.
So I got a bunch of problems: it didn't take paper as it did (it tries but no luck) and then reports "Paper jam Tray1".
If to slightly push paper in it will take it, process as normal but finally report "Paper jam Transfer" (no actual jam).
But most important the printer doesn't print at all. Only light dirt of cyan toner could be seen on the paper.
I took the printer apart, reset connectors on engine board (PWB-A), image board and wherever a connector could be reached.
Transfer belt was quite dirty of waste toner and I cleaned it around. I also cleaned all the cartridges, and tray that were slightly dirty of toners (not the waste).
During the checking and cleaning I didn't notice any damage anywhere. Finally I reset transfer belt counter from CP (thanks again!).
Nevertheless after reassembling I ended up with all the same: Doesn't take paper, Paper jam Tray1 (or Transfer), no actual jam anywhere and no printout.
The printer is old but it printed just about 100 pages during those years. I really need it now and exactly now it got broken

What could happen? Sensors and laser died at once? How to check that? There is a note in the service manual to run sensor test but how to run it?
Have somebody had similar experience with the 6120?
    Thanks.

Re: Xerox Phaser 6120 reports "Paper jam Transfer" but no paper jam.

In mean time I got an idea that I may have 2 problems: loop sensor and transfer roll.
Despite manual says the laser unit should be changed in case of blank printout, since I can see clear image on the transfer belt, I assume that laser, imaging unit and toner carousel are still working (1-st image transfer step).
However the 2-nd image transfer doesn't work: toner isn't transferred from the transfer belt to the paper. Perhaps the transfer roll doesn't receive charge and image remains on the belt.
    Does it look logical?

Also "paper jam transfer" message may appear because the loop sensor doesn't work:
    1. If the registration sensor was in fault the printer would show again "Transfer jam Tray1" which is shown when paper isn't picked up.
    2. If the exit sensor was in fault printer message should be "Transfer jam Fuser"
    Does it look logical?

On the other hand perhaps the printer works like this: if no paper is registered then 2nd transfer is not activated because otherwise the transfer roll itself would receive all the toner from the transfer belt.
If that correct then the problem is not in transfer roll but it's only sensor malfunction. And it is registration sensor! Because the loop sensor is located already above the transfer roll.
But if it's true and the faulty sensor is the registration one then why printer sends 2 different messages when paper isn't picked up (paper jam tray1) and when it is picked up as expected (paper jam transfer)?
Isn't that mean that the mechanical board (PWB-A) is in fault?
I disassembled the printer again (this time completely) and all the sensors and connectors has no damage and look properly.
Actually everything looks properly ... I really have no clue!
