Xerox W/C 7125 "system error" message

    Xerox W/C 7125 "system error" message

    We havent done the Xerox W/C7125 coarse yet..but we have sold 2...hmmm....good for the salesman bad for the service dept...... anyways every now and then they. the customer, gets a message on the display saying " system error turn off/on" so they do and it clears and works...but later on that day it comes up again or the next day....so what may be the cause!!!! Help me obiwan!!!
    You never realize how cheap a professional is until after you let an amateur do it.... and
    if this was an easy thing to do then everybody would be doing it! But it isn't and they are not!!

      You should go on the site and check machine.
      I didn't work on this model so far but I would hook up with PWS if available, chech error history...

          Thats the problemmm no coarse equals no Xerox phone support, no warranty parts and no service manual!!
          We cant go to the customers and look bad!!

              You need service manual and probably firmware for this machine.
              First you must see what error code is there. This machine has builtin diagnostic software

                  is getting into the service mode the same as earlier machines?

                          Without knowing what fault codes are being recorded when the machine goes down, I don't think you'll be able to get much help here.

                          You can always go on site, take note of error history and just tell the customer you need to order them, "Based on the error code that you have, I need to order you
                          a Left Wiffle Pin before I can diagnose the machine further."

                          Wiffle pins are pretty cheap too unless you prefer a Flux Capacitor.

                              Thanks for the inspiration!!! trouble with taking the coarse is you have to buy one of theses copiers

                                  I am the man from the field.
                                  Our company have many 7120/25 in the field,and we do not have any problems with this models.
                                  What is the error mesage?
