Docucolor 242 colour Band issue.

We have a Xerox Docucolor 242 printer that we are experiencing some printing issues with.

The printer is producing a banding stripe of approx 1 inch through the length of every print we put through it. This has been happening for around a week now and it mainly occurs in the yellow sections regardless of paper type or thickness. We have replaced all toners, image drums, fuser unit and cleaned the machine out as best as we can but now we are at a point where we need some more advice.

No error codes are appearing

Thanks for the advice, how do we locate and clean the laser?

Best thing to do is to call experienced tech. If you want to do it by yourself, you'll need service manual.
