read the manual difficult to describe how to take out and put in with out doing damage.
Get your facts first, and then you can distort them as much as you please.

If you take a break, after you drink a cup of coffe you'll see that it's not a rocket sciente.
After unplug the wires you must remove the dev. pipe first.

we were getting a strip/smear in the copy, after we did a crash-pull door open in mid stream we could pull the drum and see the latten image on it and could tell the problem was in the develpoer housing, we could see a dip in the developer, after throwing it back together, we ran a job about 10,000 copies that did not have any print on the bad area, ....whatever was in the developer housing worked its way out...clean copy now.....so we are OK...but we do not have a repair manual...any suggestions on where we can get one ??

If you're having trouble retracting the housing for removal, you may have a bad drive gear retract cam in the rear drive. The dev will not come out unless it is retracted completely.
