Xerox Phaser 3600 ADC Error on display

Hey guys

I have a Xerox Phaser 3600 with an ADC Not Confirm Error on display. I cant find anything in the service manual on this error only they user guide which only says "ADC Not Confirm Error" There is a problem in the ADC (Analog to Digital Converter) of your machine. Any suggestions?

There could be 2 solutions for this problem ...

1) Switch off the device ... wait for 10 seconds and then switch it back on ... most of the time it resolve the problem ..

2) If this does not resolve the problem, you need to remove and re-install the transfer unit which will resolve the problem for sure ..

I also posted this thread in the xerox copier forum and someone suggested to look at the fuser unit as a possible cause so I took apart the fuser and found that one of the two thermistors had a build up of gunk possibly causing the a inaccurate reading between the two thermistors. So far everything has been working fine.
