the Xerox 550 gives you control to replace the drums and fuser unit yourself the Konica C6000 requires a technician to do that which probably will take 3-5 hours to complete. Both can have a Fiery hook up.
I work on both and I prefer the Xerox 550 over the Konica C6000 but ultimately you should go to both demos and get a feel for the equipment.
Get your facts first, and then you can distort them as much as you please.
Well I have to tell you I got a customer with a Xerox DC 260( similar to 550) and recently purchase a konica c6000 wow a hell I can tell you well build and robust machine the fuser unit the rolls well build to handle heavy stock , 4 rips one for each color cool Ah! bypass well build either big robust feed rolls for heavy stock so at the I almost lost a good customer I'm waiting for c6000 to get older for problems to start up .
