    xerox 3030 parts

    I have this Xerox 3030 to service..the drum is coated with toner from the centre to the outer edge on one side only. So a cleaning blade and toner seal would likely get it back to normal....yes/no?
    Also the parts seem to be rather pricey...any one have a great place to buy theses items?

      Sounds most likely that the problem is the cleaning blade. However, you need to check to be certain the cleaning blade motor is moving properly. If not, it may be preventing the cleaning blade from fully contacting the drum surface. With the Xerographic module out on the rails, remove the black plastic clip on the end of the cleaning blade weight. Then rotate the drum in its normal direction and check to see if the toner is being fully cleaned off the drum surface. If so, then your problem is with the cleaning blade motor, something mechanical in that system, or control circuit.
