I don't think helping the guy out is really helping the guy out, he is obviously not trained on Xerox so giving him the access to service if he has no clue on what to do will possibly cause injuries or his repair bill much higher than if he had called for service straight away. Costing him more money does not make you his hero duanew. So hknwbec if you had asked Paul for this manual years ago then you don't really have a problem or looking for free fixes and if you really have a problem there are other here on this site who have offered to sell anyone who is willing to pay the pws with the manual of your choice, yes I know its expensive but knowledge is not free. If you can't find it here there is the whole world on the internet someone should sell you a manual for cheap. Good luck to you.Get your facts first, and then you can distort them as much as you please.Comment

so here ya go
Access UI Diagnostics by following the procedures below.
Entering UI Diagnostics
At the Control Panel, press and hold the 0 key for 5 seconds, then press the Start button while still pressing the 0 key.
The CE Mode - Password Entry screen will appear.
Enter the Access Number 6789 and press Confirm.
The colors on the display are reversed to indicate that UI Diagnostics mode is active.
Accessing Diagnostic routines
WorkCentre 7132 Maintenance/Diagnostics entry.
Press the Log In/Out button on the Control Panel.
Select System Settings.
Select Common Settings.
Select Maintenance/Diagnostics.
WorkCentre 7232/7242 Maintenance / Diagnostics entry.
Press the Machine Status button on the Control Panel.
Select the Tools tab on the UI.
Select Common Settings.
Under the Group column select Common Settings.
Under Features column use the down arrow and scroll to Maintenance / Diagnostics.
Common to WorkCentre 7132 and WorkCentre 7232/7242.
The following Diagnostics Routines can be accessed from the UI screen. ( Figure 1)
NVM Read/Write
Follow the instructions on the screen. If one or more NVM locations is changed, the machine will reboot upon exit.

Sub System
Initialize Hard Disk
Delete All Data
Software Options
Fax Diagnostics
Print Test Pattern
Initialize NVM
Adjustment/Others
Machine ID/Billing Data
Initialize HFSI Counter
Adjust Toner Density

Exiting UI Diagnostics
CAUTION
Ensure that the machine is not inadvertently left in UI Diagnostics.
There are three ways to exit from UI Diagnostics.
Switch the power off and on.
Perform the following:
Press Close to exit any of the service screens that were opened.
When the System Settings screen is displayed, press Exit.
When the reversed-color Copy Mode screen is displayed, press the Start button while the 0 key is pressed.
If the Restart button is displayed on the screen, pressing the button will exit UI Diagnostics and restart the operation.Comment
