we have a lot of problems with our WorkCentre 7765 Printer. As we manage to solve some of them, there are always new coming
Two problems right now:
1) - this one used to be there since we got the maschine some months ago -
if we print document with fotos, warm colors in fotos always turn greenish (to a very visible extent!). And we are perfectly aware of CMYK and RGB and of printer and application managed colors. - it clearly does not matter, what we set up. And we tried many different programs (as Acrobat, Indesign, Illustrator) and even sending the print job directly through the web interface.
What can one do to solve this problem? We tried the calibration procedure (printing those two pages and scanning them), but it did not help. I am aware of the tone up/down setting for each color, but it seems too much trial and error to me, isn't it?
2) - and this one is new indeed. The blacks fade out - it is just grey, and not black anymore. We noticed the "Dispense K nearly broken" error code so it must be it. The Question is: do we really have to replace this part or there is a chance to clean it or repair it somehow? We are willing to try any reasonable idea, before we invest a bigger sum of money (we already consider getting another maschine instead, as we only have problems with this WC, as I already mentioned...).
