Xerox 5328, check how much ink?

Hello,

(1) How do I check to see how much ink is already in a Xerox 5328?
what the ink level is?

Does it show on the control panel? what do I do?


(2) And can you use a ink refill kit on this and which one is best?

Hi Cheryl,

The only way I know of to check how much toner is in a 5328 cartridge is to take it out of the copier. It will be very light if it is near empty. You can carefully tip it from side to side over a lined trash can to get the feel of it. There is no display to show how much is left in the catridge. If I remember right there is just a sensor in the developer unit that reads whether toner is there or not. I have not worked on one in almost 15 years. I believe they came out in the early to mid 90s. I don't know the answer to your 2nd question. Hope that helps.
