    Xerox WorkCentre 3045

    Hi
    I have a Xerox Workcentre 3045 not faxing or recieving faxes.If its recieving it will ring normal and goes into fax mode then it writes Recieving Fax on the screen after that it say communication fail and gives this error(034-756}.When am sanding fax it also rings the other side then it says sanding then it will say fax fail.Is there someone who have came against this problem and how did he solve it.Is there someone who knows how to reset this machine or someone with a service/Technical manual for this machine? Please i need your help.

    1 Reseat all connectors on the fax
    Board, IP Board and the MCU Board.
    Does the error persist?
    2 Replace the Fax Board (page 4-105).
    Does the error persist?
    3 Replace the IP Board (page 4-45).
    Does the error persist?
    4 Replace the MCU Board (page 4-43).
    Does the error persist?

      Before replacing any parts, test the phone line.

      Using a regular telephone, plug in to the fax line and make a voice call to a friend. Listen for any noise on the line. (static , pops, hiss, echo)
      Any noise on the phone line can cause failed fax operation. Contact your phone line provider for repairs.

      Is your phone line analog, digital, VoIp? Voice over IP such as you can get from a cable internet provider cause many fax problems on Xerox fax units.

      If you have a service manual, you can try to lower the baud rate that the modem starts at. Lowering the starting fax baud rate (speed that the fax transmits and receives data over the phone line) can help overcome phone line problems.
