Xerox Phaser 8560 Print head stuck in forward pos. 7.010.43

I was inside there and noticed all the way up forward. I rehomed everything, including the wiper. tilt gear was disengaged. I guess I have to manuall pull on the printhead while turning the drum camshaft near the process unit. I have never had one stuck like this so I thought I would ask if anyone else has done this or has tips.

    thanks!

    Could be a timing issue.
Home everything, print head, wiper, drum maintenance kit camshaft, transfix camshaft. Make sure the process gears are aligned with the holes.
Make sure the camshafts are good, no cracks that allow the cams to rotate.

I had inherited one of these with print head movement codes. It turned out that the previous tech replaced the drum maintenance kit camshaft with one from a newer colorqube 8750. It fix but the cams were bigger and shaped differently. Had all sort of timing issues.

The drum camshaft was replaced awhile ago and the machine ran fine, no problem. One of the process gear posts broke and it went out of time.

What I dont understand is aligning the printhead locking gear or pulling the printhead back. I have never had to pull a printhead back from being stuck up front near the drum. Turning the camshaft once didnt help. It was all unlocked but the printhead wouldnt move. thats what I dont understand.
