This is a very weird defect for an 8825. I have been working with these products since they were introduced and not seen something like this. Having said that, I would be inclined to think about the following:
Do you see this problem when feeding paper from more than one tray? If not, try another roll of paper.
If it occurs with more than one roll or size of paper, check the "Media Transport to Drum Spacing" adjustment.Comment

The adjustment is in the manual. Without the manual, and basic knowledge about working on the machine, there is little hope of performing this adjustment.Comment

I have had that problem before, make sure that the back up plates under the fabric guide are seated correctly. It could also be that the fabric guide is worn. Do you also get blurs in the first 100mm of a drawing?Comment
