[Misc] Xerox Docu Color 240/250 skewing

Help needed, I have a Xerox Docu Color 240/250 that just out of the blue started skewing really bad.
It mostly happens when duplex, side 1 is fine but side 2 is off by about .25inch.
When printing 1 sided bond paper there is no skewing but as soon as I print 1 sided gloss it skews about .10inch. I've checked and cleaned all the rollers even went as far as replacing the 2nd BTR Assembly and still nothing. I also have done a tray alignment. And I have also had 4 different techs out to look at it and no one seems to know what is going on.

Start by checking your file properties. Ensure that you have properly selected the appropriate paper type for the second side. Coated paper has a tendency to jam if not.

When duplexing you have to allow the printer to compensate for thickness and weight of the toner on the 1st side. As the second side passes thru, the additional weight of the paper may cause the skew by miss feeding at an angle or jam.

    I hope this is effective.

    Good Luck!

Thanks for the info, yes the file and paper properties are all good. And there is no jamming.
      Just the skewing issue.

OK. Its obvious the problem is happening after side one passes thru the fuser. Follow the paper path after it exits the fuser unit, 2b and 2a. I know you replaced the rollers but the tension on one may be off slightly.

Also, I highly doubt the problem is the IBT belt.

Do you have another DC 250 family unit?

It looks like it starts to skew when entering the right side before getting to 2b and 2a rollers

Do you read the service manual what you need to check when the paper jam ?

It's not jamming, it prints both sides but the 2nd sided is real skewed.

It could be the rollers or an obstruction on the right side door. The paper path runs down the door, reverses direction and back up to 2b.

That's what I was thinking as well but I have also replaced the black gate and the teeth (not sure what they are called) on the right side door. The sided rollers look good and the fans on the right door are turning on as well.

Not sure if this makes sense but I'm wondering if it could be a software issue. Only because when I look at the preview on the cw it looks good but as soon as it prints and I go back and look at the preview again it shows it skewed.

What type of server do you have? External or Bustled? Try reinstalling CWS or upgrading to CWS 5.

Well here is my update, It's not the software
So a Xerox tech friend of mine said that he thinks that it might be the Inverter 2 Transport 059K41974.
This part costs a lot of money so don't want spend unless I know for sure.
