Xerox 8570 colour cube no power

Been asked to look at a Xerox I know nothing about. I am a Ricoh/Toshiba engineer, please help?
Customer pulled power cord out of printer during print run, now has no sign of life.
Have checked mains power and that is fine, Xerox forums say new electronics unit required, but before I go that far, any other ideas please.

He/ She may have damaged the unit beyond repair. They have a 15-20 min cool down period after the unit has been turned off. If for any reason you unplug it prematurely the material inside will solidify rendering it useless.

I have a friend who is a reseller and on several occasions learned this the hard way.
