    Workcenter 7655 software issues

    Hello All,

    I have a Workcentre 7655 and I am attempting to connect a High Cap Feeder to it. On start-up it continuously reboots when its connected. (works fine with out) The configuration page is blank where the Software version is listed for the High Cap.

    Does anyone know which version I need to be running to use the High Cap or do I need to install the feature?

    I currently have 040.033.5305

      That version of firmware is buggy. Need to be at 33.53140 at least and 33.53240 is the latest I believe.

          Latest is 53361 but I think is something wrong with HCF. You must seen the software version on config report

              Thanks for all your help.

              I sold the High Cap to a man in CA who had the Workcentre already. It was tested on a Docucolor prior to leaving my location and worked great. So I dont believe its a problem with the High Cap.

              The config sheet lists the High Cap but the line for the SW version is blank.

              Is it possible that installing new or reloading SW will install the appropriate SW for the accessory that is connected to it?

              I'm trying to make recommendations to him on how to proceed.

                  Try to reinstall a upper software version and after that a nvm init. It's oversize hcf or hcf ?

                          It is not possible to install OHCF on workcentre 7655 machine, only on docucolor machine.

                              I have a compatibility book that I used verified your comment and your right. I guess I just assumed it would work with it.

                              Next time I'll check..
