Xerox WC7345(Lexmark X945E) with 2 developer lines

Evidently 2 spots on black developer unit where a light line is running across page. Due to inability for fill in on mag roller possibly from clumping toner.
On other machines I have sometimes used something like a plastic card to break up clumped toner particles. Is it possible to do that on this machine without removing developer unit which is a headache. The more prominent line is 2 inches from rear end of mag roller while the other which is not that noticeable is 1 and 1/2 inches from front side of roller.

Well try this I have done on the black developer housing because is more accessible than the other ones , use a business card and insert it between the mag roll and the metering blade and move it from inboard to outboard to try to breakup the foreign matter causing the lines. If dosent work my recommendation if you open it up replace the 4 developers just in case.

Xerox did produce a small plastic piece of Mylar, which was designed to be clipped to the end of the ros window cleaning wand, you could then slip the Mylar in under the rec blade and use the wand to reach all the way to the rear. I found it to be a really use full tool. Can't remember xerox part number, probably started 655n?????

may be able to find whole number later, will post if I can find it, think it may have been released for 3535 range but you can use it on later models if cleaning wand the same.

Actually Will, that is an excellent suggestion as there is little space to get plastic into place from front of machine. Maybe I can improvise something like that for the wand of some other long plastic contraption.
Edgardo, how were you able to have enough space to get your hand inside without taking machine apart from front or left side? Frank
