XEROX 700 TONER SPILL onto GLASS ABOVE DRUMS

    Good Night,
Can anyone possibly help me with figuring out why after about One Hundred Prints, the Cyna Toner Spills Upwards onto the Glass Strip above the Drum creating prints that doesn't have image in that area. I keep cleaning the glass and it keeps coming back. All Supplies are Xerox Originals and they all have alot of life left.
    Thanks

I would start with replacing the cyan developer and calibrating the toner density. It could be that the toner density (amount of toner in the dv mix) is too high. If the problem returns after that I would replace the DV housing and use fresh developer. "a lot of life left" is general term for supplies that are functioning normally. Not all supplies function normally.

Check the Ozone filter, It may be dirty causing the duct to back up. I believe this is the main cause of dirty ROS units.

      Good Luck..

interfacep is right on! i have experienced this on other POLLS machines dc,240 ... 77xx and so on .. if the filters are dirty it causes a mushroom like cloud that stays inside if the machine and eventually gets on the inside of the ros glass in my case i had to seperate the top half of machine and remove the 2 ros and physically open them up and clean the build up from the mirrors (careful when removing and reinstalling flat ribbon cables they can be unforgiving) good luck
