    Docucolor 260, 127-311 connection error

Need help with code on DocuColor 260. I keep getting the Xerox code 127-311 saying it can detect commands but cannot detect input video, data, or clock. Asking me to check connections. I have checked and re-checked connections - everything seems connected perfect/ I have disconnected, reconnected, powered off and rebooted both machine and Creo but, no joy.as message keeps coming back. Is there a code to shut-off or reset error message. I have manual but doesn't help on this one. Anyone seen this or have fixed brfore? Greatly appreciate any help on this. Thanks!

127 codes are typically associated with the print server in this case the Creo. It may be that the Video card in the Creo is bad or may need to be reseated. By Video card I mean the card that the printer connects to.

Try isolating the problem by disconnecting the Creo from the unit. Check to see if it gives the same error.

If you find the problem to be the Creo and reinstalling the card in ineffective, reinstall SW if you have it.

    Good Luck

Thanks InterfaceP for your response. I had shut down the server and switched on the copier to isolate problem, I was able to get the copier to startup with no issues. When I reconnected the Creo, the problem would go away for a few prints and then gave me an unrelated hole punch code (012-332) which I also disconnected & reconnected. After a few prints it would come back to the 127-311 code. This also led me to suspect possible cable or card issue. I'll re-seat the cards Tomorrow, weather permitting. Thanks,

Removed, cleaned contacts and reseated Video/NIC card on the Creo, but the error still came back. Removed and reseated cables again, still same code comes back after a few prints 127-311. Any other thoughts? Need additional input on this one. Thanks,

Do you have others error codes along with this one ?
If there are jams code then try to fix the cause of jams.
What software version machine have ?.
You can try to reload DC machine software or upgrade it.

This errors can be assimilates like jams in the finisher.
Try to use a simple exit tray or another finisher if you have one.
Your software machine is at 1.210.23 level so you can try to upgrade it at 1.210.25 software level.
The ultimate solution is to replace ess nvm pwb.
