xerox dc 240 and ohcf 077-312

    Hi,
I've got a problem with my ohcf. When I start copier, the machine show me a code - 077-312. When i disconnect ohcf and connect only bypass (tray 5) everything is ok. Next I printing from bypass for example 2hours, and disconnect bypass and return cfg with ohcf. OHCF working without error. Next day when I want to start machine error show again.
Does anybody know what is wrong?
    Thanks in advance for reply.

    Code is: "Feeder Communication Failure"

Code is most likely a connection problem or a power issue. OHCF has it's own power cord. Ensure it's plugged in and on.

Re seat all connections and power back on.

Is this a new accessory or have you been using it for some time?

    Good Luck!

Furthermore... If your desperate to use the bypass tray 5 you can remove it from the OHCF and install on the 240.

This is not a new. I know that is a problem with communication. All time when i start printer ohcf also start (LED lights under the cover). So it couldnt be power cord. I think it could be connection between xerox and ohcf. In service manual i found procedure to check connection but i didnt understand it.

Open the back cover and look for Plug/Jack 810. on the main board (PWB) Check for 24v between pin 3 & 5.

Look on the circuit board next to the plug for a pin numbering sequence. If it a 10 pin plug a "1" will be on one side and a "10" will be on the other. That way you know which way to start counting.

If you have 24v power the problem is the OHCF.

          We will continue from there.

          Good luck!

I checked voltage and it was 24V all time (when error present and not). Do you have any idea what should i check now?
