WC4260 Setting Date and Time on Fax option

So as stated before I have the pleasure on working on the XEROX brand until we upgrade a handful of customers with the SHARP boxes...so with that said I'm not XEROX familiar.

I flipped this 4260 upside down trying to find how to set up the time stamp on the fax feature...I did Google this and I read something about Product Enablement Key during first setup. Do I need this Key to change the time and date??? Sounds Mc CRAY CRAY to me!!! Thanks in advance!

The fax option should be using the same date and time as the system date and time. That is set in the System Administration Tools.

1. Press the Log In/Out key.
2. Enter the default password 1111 and press Enter.
3. Select the Tools tab.

On the WC 4260 A problem has been confirmed with Firmware level 30.102.69.000. Some machines have been found to have a software glitch that will cause the time to stop counting when the customer is shutting down power using the "Power Key" on the left side of the User Interface and then selects "Power Down". There is no time error when using the Main Power Switch on the left side of the machine. At this time there is no solution. If your customer is experiencing this problem you should contact your local Xerox Customer Support Center and submit a SPAR for a software resolution.
