xerox workcentre 5020 n9 error

Hello friends display says n9 on this xerox, what can I to solve it? The customer switchs on the copier without the fuser unit, and when I installed it display says n9. Thanks in advance.

Check the thermostat if it's open.Check the wires connection in fuser section,lamps etc.Repeat the above reset procedure after inspection.

I have the service manual and there are two options to enter service mode, But I don't find the chain to reset this error code. thanks.

There are two options because there are two different machine.
One WC5020 with platen or adf and another machine with dadf.
N9 error code has nothing to do with the fuser. You must see the entire error code n9.xx.
I presume your machine is WC5020 with DADF, duplex print and scanning and you dont have the right manual for it

Read again chapter 6 from service manual
It's very clear explained. Check the value of nvm 50-20. Must be on 0
Then go an execute 20-58 for resseting nvm's

<<<<<<<well, I have the same problem, I enter to service mode ,I press and hold 0 buttom for about 8 seconds then I press start buttom, display says _ _ _ I put 6,7,8,9, and press start buttom display says C _ _ but I can not input 20 - 58 when I put 20 and press start display says C _ _ again , I can input 650 then appears L _ _ then I input 20 press start buttom and display says RUN ,well What else can I do to solve this error code,thanks.Maybe change the mainboard and What is the meaning N9?

this is normal fault error in 5020 ,this error related from fuser and the location 650-20 reset the error.thanks
