Hi. I've not had any experience on this model before. I attended a Call where the machine was constantly turning off then on ,in a continuous loop. I disconnected the hdd which made the machine come to ready. So I've ordered a new hdd. The scan features are now greyed out and the machine is unable to scan. My question is, when replacing the hdd on this model ,do I have to reprogram all the scan settings(ie) address books etc? Also , do I need to upgrade firmware or anything like that? Am I being too hopefully ,that simply replacing the hdd will bring the machine back to how it was with all functions available and working? Lol
any input would be greatly appreciated.

for starters always upgrade on this model latest approved firmware avail to general public on xerox site. its not hard to load thee is a procedure for rplcing HDD but you should be ok when putting new when you said scan did you mean email or scan to network?

I think it's scan to email. But possibly scan to folder too.
