Hi. I've not had any experience on this model before. I attended a Call where the machine was constantly turning off then on ,in a continuous loop. I disconnected the hdd which made the machine come to ready. So I've ordered a new hdd. The scan features are now greyed out and the machine is unable to scan. My question is, when replacing the hdd on this model ,do I have to reprogram all the scan settings(ie) address books etc? Also , do I need to upgrade firmware or anything like that? Am I being too hopefully ,that simply replacing the hdd will bring the machine back to how it was with all functions available and working? Lol
