    DC 5000 jams with 9-120

    Hi
My dc5000 is showing continuous paper jam with any media with the jam code 9-120 in PWS .

The paper jams either just above the 2nd BTR or on the first vaccum belt.the transferred image on paper shows slight mis registration.

I checked all the sensors in registration assy, 2nd btr and on vaccum belts.

Rest all looks fine to me.

Any suggestions on what I am missing?

Well surprise surprise. Today when I checked the sensors again in pws v transport sensor 2 doesn't change.yesterday when I checked the same it was working fine. Well I replaced the sensor,no luck. Tomorrow I will be interchanging the BGM pwb and lvps2 from another machine. I am sure the wiring is okay as nothing has been disturbed band the problem cropped up in between a job run.

If I have overlooked anything do let me know. Fingers crossed for now

Re: DC 5000 jams with 9-120

I put the entire feeder unit , registeration assy, fuser , v belt transport all into another DC5000 and it works perfectly. Changed LVPS 2 . So i am thinking IO pwb .

Could it be anything else ? just thinking i dont want to spend too much ...................

It was just toner which fell on the connector in the rear of the machine. Cleaned it and .problem solved
