    [Misc] Dc 5000 developer material

    Hi Friends,Is it possible to use Xerox DC 5000 developer material in a DC 250? I got the new devveloper assembly for the Dc 250 but material for DC 5000. Please help me fast as the supplier send me this by mistake.ThanksVibin

    No can do. You would have a nasty big mess to fix. Developer material is part iron powder, part toner. The 250 and 5000 use completely and totally incompatible toner. So although the iron powder portion would be compatible, the toner mixed in with it would be for the 5000 which has an oil lubricated fuser. The 250 does not use oil, so the developer assembly would then be full of toner which will create a nasty mess in your oil-less 250 fuser.

      Thanks for this. I got in developer material for the 250.

      For a pint of information. How about dev material for dc 700 can it work on the dc 250.
