    Xerox DCC IV 2260 Fuser Unit Reset

    Hi,

    I have a Xerox DCC IV 2260 And it's coming up with replace Fuser Unit, is there a reset code for the machine?

      Not sure if that model is set up exactly like our version (wc75xx , wc78xx). If it is, enter service mode by holding the 0 for 10 seconds, then press start. enter 6789. In service mode screen look for the HFSI counters. You should find one for the fuser. You can clear the counter and also adjust the life counter (max the life counter to 99999999).

          As Above, Get into Service mode, Then All Services - Tools- Maintenance and Diagnostics - Adjustments and Other (IIRC) - HSFI Counters, The Value you are looking for is 954-850 and 954-851, Set these both to 999999, And you wont have to worry about it for a while.

          It's just a Total "Lamp - On Time" So nothing to worry about
