      HI,

Configuration mismatch indicates that you have installed or removed a component ( hard drive, fax pwb, disk image HDD), I've found that some times is due to an exhausted nvm pwb battery (it's a small yellow brick, mounted over a memory like pwb inside the copier controller cage), also the copier counter maybe reset to zero, and it will run the start up configuration wizard every time you turn on the machine (asking for date time and fax config). If this is your case you should replace that battery.

      regards,

What options do you have once the meter is reset to 0? Is it possible to return it to the actual count?

Sorry, up to may knowledge there is no way to recover the lost meter readings.

That's some serious problem, reflects corrupted data or machine serial inconsistency on two or more PWB's (MCU, CCM, or IIT) when you replace PWB's, should be done one at a time to allow the machine to synchronize Serial stored on three PWB's, failure to do so (i.e. replacing two or more PWB at the same time), or depleted batteries on two PWB results in this code.

The only way to recover serial is through diagnostics ran from PWS and placing a call to Xerox, they will provide a code that allow serial synchronization on the PWB's, this procedure generates cost (around $300) and you will need to provide some documentation sent to Xerox(proof of purchase or proof of ownership among others).

I recommend that in case you're interested in synchronizing the serial, call an Xerox Authorized Service Provider.
