Xerox dc12 Error

Hello friends,
I'm new here and I hope someone can help.
I replaced the section behind Xerox DC12 (2nd BTR Drive Assembly).
But when I turn it on, I hear a "click" a couple of times,
after that show error 9-342.
Can someone help ?, Thanks a lot

look at window in front of dc 12. You will found it when you open front door.
If 2nd btr rotated you will see yellow mark. (there is no black plastic cover with small window at my picture).But you see yellow mark.

Hi

DC12 Very good and old machine... ; )

I had a few of them when that error appears sometimes the solutions where diferent
on my experience.

1- Try to remove the black gear and reinserted backwards sometimes its whearing and tearing that makes the machine unable to retract the 2nd btr
note the gear is on the first picture you have show you will see that maybe she is worn out.

2 - if not you it could be the 2nd btr and you must replace

3 - last the clutch part (first photo you shown) will need to be replaced.

Maybe best to buy a other printer.

dear friends, I also have the same problem! are two months that every time I turn on the machine, it gives the error 9-342! the error appears every time I open the cover. I have already changed the entire 2BTR and the clutch, but the problem remains! I do other attempts ...

Clean or replace front door interlock switch.
For test you can just bypass that interlock switch.

Clean drawer contacts and an machine contacts,I cant remember right, whether its 9-342or 9-343, but an old style fuses on one of the boards causes one of the error codes!

in fact I had suspected it was a problem in the fuse! I recently replaced the original fuse (099P03019) with another not original fuse!

yes friend. just a few days later. and I have changed the entire 2BTR and clutches are new.

Can you get a pic up and rating/ amp of fuse you changed, I have a box of dc 12 bits and tons of fuses knocking bout!

the copy comes out as type "watermark", and very white. then, all of a sudden the copy comes out nice, is not optimal. What can it be?

I changed the "2nd BTR HVPS," but the problem remains.
