    [Error Code] 102-372 on Docucolor 2240 (reinstall software)

    I have a Docucolor 2240, but it gives me error 102-372, requests to reinstall the software. I have the firmware, the problem is that DC 2240 does not start to make the repair.
    Connect via LPT1 and I did a firmware Download, but not start, and when connected to COM1 not detected. I have the PWS running on a virtual machine (Vmware Workstation V7.1.3) with Windows XP Sp3. How I can reinstall the software?... help me

      Try to use a real WinXP with SP1
      I dont know how the pws works on a virtual XP machine.
      Your machine is old one. Find an old computer or laptop.

          Although the DC 2240 don't initialize, can it be repaired?. because don't start printing mode, and the error code 102-372 directly appears and not the control panel.

              The problem is on ess pwb or ess components.
              What version of the pws diagnostic tool do you have ?

                  I have PWS 9.2 non-xerox, PWS Diag 3.6 and DC2240_1632_3535_M24_eng_files

                      I dont know what ' DC2240_1632_3535_M24_eng_files ' mean but the pws 3.6 is good
                      Also you can check the IOT to IIT thick cable.

                              Finally I could. Just press "4 + power save + stop" and enter download mode and there upgrade firmware via LPT.
