because its putting a yellow back ground and some prints have yellow lines in it.so i wanted to know if i took the devloper unit out again and rotated it properly you think it would work or do i have to replace the whole unit again also i lost the values on the bottom that i was supposed to put into the copier can any one help me out

What was the reason you replaced the yellow developer in the first place?

A problem with developer or a developer housing more often results in a lack of that color being printed. (void lines or void patches)

Background / lines in 1 color is often due to a worn drum unit. Try swapping the yellow drum with any of the other drum units. If the background / lines change color , you know the problem is with the drum.

I can't see how replacing the developer would cause you to have background. Did you just replace the developer or the developer housing too?
