Work center 4150 fuser change

Good morning,

Trying to assist a tech at a church. in replacing the fuser on this Xerox 4150 work center as the machine called for it.

After replacement it still says fuser module failed, no codes displayed tried unplugging(no help). Searched the forums but have no direction to go to from here.

Any comments greatly appreciated.

Precision Roller was kind enough to email the svc manual.

It clearly states to enter the diagnostic/service programs after repalcing the fuser to reset its life.

We've tried holding down the 0 for 3, 5, &10 seconds B4 touching start. We just can't get in?

Think we have it. Posts indicate no reset is needed after fuser replacement, or to hold 0 for a number of seconds , then start. According to the parts drop dissertation on this fuser the fuser life count needs to be reset via # then "access" key. Maybe our answer.
