Can a tech help? DC242 with EX260 - problem printing

I have a DC242 and an EX260 Fiery - it was working OK until this afternoon.

I sent an job to the Fiery through CWS and it went to the Fiery OK. It ripped OK and then went to the printer - I then got a Blue Screen with a Memory Parity Error and the DC242 showed an error with the Network Communication (I forget the exact code)

I reset the cable between the Fiery and the DC242 and retested - same problem - ripped ok and then failed when it went to print

I tried again with a different (smaller) print job - same issue.

Using the Fiery Bar, I ran the Diagnostics and tested the I/F board and it came back with Video Diags Failed (System ID ffffff)

Does anyone have any idea what to try next to fix it? I have rebooted and restarted both the Fiery and DC242 several times. The DC242 copies fine from the glass.

I'd really appreciate any help anyone can offer.

Reseat all boards and connectors in Fiery. Check again. If same error try to reload EXP Fiery software.

How did you get on with this problem? Fixed? How?

          Yes, fixed.

I removed the board, cleaned the edge connectors, removed a ton of accumulated dust and dirt from the inside of the EX260 and restarted the box and it ran perfectly. I also found I had the same problem if I booted the EX260 with a USB stick inserted. So I can't say which one fixed it - but both are worth checking if you get a similar problem.
