Phaser 3600 serial number change

Hi Guys

Colleague of mine changed main pwb in a 3600 and now IT can't receive any notifications from printer, it is working, does print, but when config page is printed off serial number shows as 'P' only and IT can't connect for toner levels etc,
I have looked at the service manual and cant find anything relating to this, can anyone kindly assist please?
