    DC 260 Bypass Not Running

Hi, I have a Docucolor 260 that has a HCF tray that's attached the to machine.

Recently customer called me saying the Bypass isn't working.

The problem I'm having is when I remove the HCF and put the Bypass tray directly on the machine, it runs fine.

But when it's connected to the HCF tray, the machine seems like it would not run and shows there's a jam in the registration roller.

Bypass does recognize there is paper in the tray and motor does lift the paper, but when the machine attempts to run, there is no moving from the pickup motor at all.

Has anyone run into this problem in before?

Any error code in the history ?
What is the software versions of the machine and HCF or OversizeHCF ?

      It doesn't show any error.

One thing though was that the machine had the main motor clutch fail and I replaced that.

I don't know if when my tech replaced it that he knocked something loose.

Also, the connector for the HCF tray in the machine is broken and the plug doesn't snap in.
Not sure if that's the cause, but the HCF itself is working perfectly normal too.

Sounds like the harness from the Tray5 HCF plug to the Printer is the cause. Open up the side panel and check for any wires that are broken or pulled from the connector.

You are right, it was the plugs in the connector inside the HCF tray.

My tech had someone pulled some of them off when he was fixing the machine previously
