good day gents and ladies, working with workcentre 7775 and having grave issues printing on glossy or similar paper. the manual tray 5 tried to load glossy 100lb, 80lb, and 60lb text, and no matter what settings i put in (i.e...... glossy, paper, glossy reloaded, glossy hw) it prints about 1-3 copies fine then it picks up sometimes 3-5 sheets in the feeder causing a paper jam. tried tray 1 and 2 with the glossy again (and matte paper, same weight) and same issue, would print 1-2-3-4 sheets fine and the it would pick up like 3 or so at a time and cause a jam. when i use the card stock 100lb there is very little to no jam issue, but the paper gloss or matte poses a big problem... any ideas on how to resolve this? losing money with wasted toner/time/and paper, thanks

Re: workcentre 7775 paper feed problems
Tray 5 is a pain in the arse when printing gloss paper. I have tried with mixed success many different ideas.
First make sure you "fluff" the paper prior in loading. The air between the paper will help to decrease friction. Also try to curl the lead edge of the paper, about 1". Also if all else fails apply pressure to the sides of the paper as it feeds to prevent it from double feeding.
Good luck..Comment

If you run a lot of card stock you should consider a Xerox 700 DCP. Same family as the 7775Comment
