Xerox Colorcube 8900s Password reset

I need to reset the admin password for my colorqube 8900s. I changed the original 1111 password and my new password was working fine for months. Had a computer crash and reinstalled my windows. after doing so, when i go to the Centreware internet page I cannot login. It does not accept the password now. I cannot attempt to login at the control panel as that function was disabled. thus, I'm stuck. I saw on this forum a mention of a reset tool regarding the 8900x. Can anyone help me with this?

CE password is 1991

You may be able to change it from there, I'm not sure though.

Send me mail at stoadis@gmail.com with serial number and total meter of the machine and I will generate the reset code for you.

You may be able to change it from there, I'm not sure though.

When you say CE password is 1991, to what are you referring?

The control panel on the machine gives me no options to enter the security settings to reset or change. Any panel access was disabled when the machine was delivered and unfortunately I did not see a need at the time to enable them via the web interface, thus the web interface is all I have unless there are some specific key sequences on the panel that allow me to gain access and reset the password.

Try Adriansto's method first.

Otherwise CE= Maintenance/Diagnostics Press * # then Stop enter the password. You may be able to reset from there.

Hi,
Can anyone help me with password removal from my Xerox Colorcube 8900?
Serial Number: 3271306899
Total Impressions: 19646

My machine can copy and scan only
also, the color printing is disabled.

I tried "admin" and "1111" but it doesn't work.
I can't understand why Xerox support doesn't want to help me...
they are pretending that "Visit of a technican is required" which cost a fortune in my Country.

So, could somebody generate that password for me please?

I know the proceure:
"At the Touch User Interface, hold down these 3 keys in this order: Star * then 3 then
the numeric clear C key.
Star * then 3 then the numeric clear C key.
The Login screen should appear.
Enter the 12 digit Reset Code obtained..."
